Danny Morris' field experience

On Monday we met a young man, that had never before talked with Jehovah's Witnesses. We shared with him the verses from Luke 4 and Daniel 2 explaining that the governments of the earth are under Satan's control, and that Jehovah's Heavenly Kingdom with Jesus Christ as King would bring an end to Satan's corrupt system. We then explained that because of this Jehovah's witnesses  worldwide are unitedly neutral when it comes to politics and wars. Up until this point he was fairly quiet, and mainly just listened with interest.  I offered the Good News brochure pointing to the cover where people from all nations are depicted. As he thumbed through the pages he began  to ask various questions - "So you mean Jehovah's Witnesses will not go to war and support the troops?", no I explained, and no matter what country we are in. "What about blood, you don't take transfusions?, No I explained. "What about Smoking?", again I quickly explained smoking was not acceptable to Jehovah's witnesses".  Then, he said "so how does a person become a "proselytizer?"  Well, I said, We use this book - What does the Bible Really Teach" and as a person studies the bible with us, they come to a point where they have to make a decision to serve Jehovah and tell others about Jehovah and his Kingdom., then they can preach to others. Then he casually said "where is the Kingdom Hall and what time, I would like to go?
We gave him the address and time, and offered to come back later that week to demonstrate the study. He said today was his only day off and that he worked 2 jobs - 11 AM to Midnight.
Hopefully the new Congregation here in Orem will find him home when they call back or even meet him at the Kingdom Hall one day.
